Franklin Monroe is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that that we have recently received information about at least one confirmed case of COVID-19 in a student or staff person at Franklin Monroe High School. Cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed locations has been completed.
Franklin Monroe will remain open at this time. We are working closely with the Darke County Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by the health department as a part of COVID-19 investigation.

In accordance with the Ohio Department of Health Director's Sports Order amended and issued September 25, 2020, any student athlete who tests positive for COVID-19 shall not return to sports activities until a documented medical exam is performed clearing the individual.
The Return to Play Form must be filled out and returned to the Athletic Office before a student athlete may return to contests or practices.
Governor Mike DeWine established the Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) in August of 2019 to support schools, first responders, and communities in preventing, preparing for, and responding to threats and acts of violence, including self-harm.
